First heat oil or ghee in a pan. Then add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. This step is important for creating the base of paneer.

Prepare the Gravy

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies to the sautéed onions. You have to cook till the raw aroma disappears. Now add the purid tomatoes and wait till the oil is separated from the mixture. This ensures the gravy is rich and thick.

Spice It Up

Now you need to stiir in turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder to make a spicy paneer masala. Cook for a few minutes.  Add a little water if the mixture becomes too thick.

Add the Paneer

You need to carefully fold the paneer cubes. Then cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.

Finish with Cream

Stir in the fresh cream and garam masala, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes. The cream adds a luxurious texture.
